Ramble On
having recently revived myself from the evil dead, also known as the common cold, i went on a frantic search for the things i've missed out on in the internets. well, when i say internets, i really mean games.
for some reason, i stumbled on some really interesting sites (who'd have thunk it) online about IF (interactive fiction) games, text based adventures, alternate/perspective reality games, point&click games and of course, my personal favourite, adventure games. also, the recent upsurge of adventure games for the DS makes me a very, very, very happy lass. especially so when i've just read news of a Nikopol (originally THE most beautiful comic by Enki Bilal) adventure game by White Birds Production to be released next year. :)
i'm unsure where i'm heading with this ramble but i shan't digress.
actually, that's a lie. i forget what the purpose of this post is really. possibly a reminder for myself about where i was before i started this.
since my current 'job' status tend to lean towards the graphics side of any project, i find myself searching profusely for any sort of videogame-based artwork that sorta stands out. for some reason, i may be biased towards the old school retro look possibly because i can't do it. and no i haven't tried to, only because i fear i might be so bad at it, i might have to force virtual seppuku on myself.
