| I've had a bit of fun before in EVE myself, but the points I've made were enough to keep me away. And if you want a game similar to EVE, single player, and truly sandbox-able, try [game=x3]. The differences are that there are no skills and you actually have to point and shoot. But you can have space stations, destroy everything in a sector, pirate, follow the story line, have your own sector with shipyard, manufacturing stations, huge battle ships, carriers, etc. Alas, it's not all shinny, the menus really really suck, but otherwise, it's a nice game. | 1201796238 |
| Skaldicpoet9: And that's not all. I tell this to everyone but the fanboys go in some berserk rage. The skill system is a scam. Plain and simple, you can only train a single character per account, if you were to learn all skills in eve with a single account it would take a life time, this ensures older characters, whether they were actively played or just logged in to change skills will -always- have better skills, you have to wait at least 3 years to get the real nice sandboxing skills, not to mention one of the station skills take a whole irl year to train. So you see, it's a fucking scam. Freedom my ass. If you have been paying for long, you're better, no matter what you did. That's simply it.
