I used to be an avid arcade-goer until the local arcade closed. I played 2D fighters for hours a day. I miss it.
I love a lot of the old, and a lot of the new. I'm a big fan of old-school 2D RPG's and fighting games like Final Fantasy and Street Fighter. I still get together occasionally and break out Street Fighter III: Third Strike and Guilty Gear (pick one) with my friends.
The original Final Fantasy is still one of my favorite games of all time. I played through it on the NES, I played through the remake on the Playstation, and I plan to buy the next remake on the PSP when it's released on June 26th.
On PC I generally play real-time strategy, role-playing, and massively multiplayer online role-playing games. Surprised that I know what MMORPG stands for?
My next major gaming purchase should be within the next few weeks. Sony sold me on the Playstation 3 with their demos of Home and Little Big Planet. I'm not a huge first-person shooter fan, so I decided on the PS3 over the Xbox 360.

Assumption is the mother of all screw-ups.
These are the games I play on a weekly basis.

This is a list of all of the games which I've had a hand in beta testing.
Fun little browser-based RPG. It's in open beta, so try it out...and don't forget who referred you!
Anarchy was a NIGHTMARE in beta. Lag was horrific, tradeskills were in no way working, and there were TONS of other bugs. The game was still fun, though, to FunCom's credit.
I really enjoyed Lord of the Rings Online for the time I played it. With no overt PvP, it reminded me of my EverQuest days.
Vanguard was a fun beta for me. There were some bugs, but nothing game-breaking to me. Only problem I had was the fact that it takes such a hardcore computer to run it with high settings.
E&B was insanely fun. It was the first spaceship-based MMORPG I ever played, and I loved it. I see a lot of it in EVE Online.
