Geoff Carson

I grew and and currently live here in central Illinois. I've been creating and playing games all my life, from pencil and paper games created on newsprint, to kicking pixels around a screen. I've worked in IT for a financial services company for the past 11 years supporting various systems, and for the past few years have been programming against things like LDAP directories and databases. Today I design and implement new systems as well as lead projects.

Career Summary

I've worked for 11 years in the financial services industry in Information Technology helping our employees find better ways of doing their jobs. In my free time I create and play games.
These games kick it.
I played this game for 10 years, played 10's of thousands of games, and probably 80% of them were GoW... all true War2 fans out there know what that is.
Timeless terror.
The first true 3D first person shooter, and one of my favorite online games other then Warcraft II.
One of the best Star Wars space combat games.
This game was one of the most fun space sim games I'd played, then I found the hyperspace bug on the second to last level to simply skip fighting my way through the whole mess of Imps to get to the trench on the Death Star, now that was easy... ha!
This is simply one of the best all around single and multi-player games ever, and it only was over a year late in it's release, but they got it right.
Anyone here remember the 80's and the C64, those were the days... shooting dragons with arrows to rack up the score for hours and hours just to beat your siblings top score and make them upset, those were the days.
Moles collecting diamonds, what else could you want???
Ageless...
